Maritime Hazmat Training
Compliance with Federal DOT and/or IMO hazmat regulations is a must when shipping hazardous materials. Our training seminars offer the marine industry flexibility in the complex arena of training. We facilitate the learning process with instruction based on a combination and blending of:
- Structured presentation of core regulations
- Examples of cause and effect of the regulations as currently actualized within the industry
- Classroom exercises
- Visualized demonstrations and illustrations
- Systematic testing
Thus our curriculum meets all federal and international regulations as they may apply to the training process. Our courses have been authored by the NCB with the understanding that the regulations require training based on the nature of the job requirements performed by a given hazmat employee. In all cases, the training includes various levels of required training aspects:
- General Awareness
- Function Specific
- Safety training
- Security Awareness
There are three courses from which to choose.
NOTE: Pricing stated is for shoreside classes at our facility in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, or shipboard at Port Everglades, Florida. Optional training sites available—contact us for a quote.
