The MARPOL Convention requires from the 1st March 2018 changes to record keeping of treatment of garbage and cargo residues. The new Garbage Record Book (1203Y) complies to these updated regulations and provides tables for recording of the required entries for both category A-I garbage as well as category J-K HMI and non HMI cargo residues. The garbage and cargo residues are dealt with in different parts of the record book. The record book complies with MEPC.277(70)
