Maritime Progress ISPS Code Declaration of Security Record Log Book 1205Y
In accordance with ISPS Code Part A, Section 5, ships should provide a Declaration of Security when requested to do so by a port facility or another vessel, or when deemed necessary by the Captain or Ship Security Officer.
The vessels Ship Security Plan will detail fully the situations in which a Declaration of Security should be requested from a port facility or another ship, and how requests for a Declaration of Security should be handled.
The ISPS Code Declaration of Security Record Book provides such forms to allow for completion.
