Marine Safety Sign: Lifejackets Under Seats
Marine safety signs are required to complement or expand the scope of officially designated signage on board vessels. Flag State Authorities (FSA) and Classification societies require many of these marine safety signs to be on board vessels to adequately mark safety and life saving equipment.
All first aid points and first aid storage should be marked, as should emergency telephones and emergency stop buttons. Chemical carriers and vessels carrying hazardous cargoes should mark emergency showers and eye washes with the appropriate signs.
