The full-size Tamaya Spica Sextant is confidently used by ocean-going navigators because its optical system is designed to ensure maximum performance, including excellent LED electric lighting. The frame construction is lightweight aluminum alloy with a corrosion-resistant black finish. The arc is easily read, with white engravings on black finished bronze. The Spica Sextant comes standard with a plastic carrying case, an adjusting wrench, two dry cell UM-3 batteries, and two LED bulbs. Scopes are sold separately.
