Oil Record Book (Part 2): Cargo / Ballast Operations (Oil Tankers)' is required in accordance with regulation 36 of Annex I of the International Convention for the Prevention of pollution from Ships (1973), as modified by the Protocol of 1978 (MARPOL 73/78).

The 'Oil Record Book (Part I): Machinery Space operations (All Ships)' is available to purchase separately.

This Record Book supersedes the 2nd Edition (2006), and will come into effect on 1 January 2011.
