All Cayman Islands ships over 300GT and issued with a Safety radio Certificate are required to carry a GMDSS Log Book. The log book is to keep records of communications relating to distress, urgency and safety radio traffic, regular positions of the ship and results of tests on radio equipment. Instructions for completing the log book are contained in the book.
