The Code of Federal Regulations or CFR, is a listing of the general and permanent rules, regulations or administrative laws which have been published in the Federal Register by the departments and agencies of the federal government of the United States. All laws and regulations listed in each publication go into effect on the date that the media has been published.

CFR 29 Labor is made up of nine volumes which cover parts 1900 to 1910.999. The contents of each volume represent all current regulation included in this title as of July 1, 2014. For the convenience of the user, the OMB control numbers for this title 29 CFR appear in the Finding Aids section of the volume which contains § 1910.1000 to the end.

This volume covers regulations relating to labor which include occupational safety and health administration, the Department of Labor, a table of CFR titles and chapters, as well as an alphabetized list of agencies that appear in the CFR.

Individual volumes of the CFR 29 manual are available for purchase and each covers a different topic that is explained in depth. This particular volume for parts 1900-1910 contains the information needed for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Department of Labor.
